GALA DINNER at MAS MARROCH (El Celler de Can Roca) Vilabrareix (Girona)

Performance of UdG's Castellers Xoriguers and the Esbart Dansaire de Fontcoberta. A "castell" is a typically Catalan human tower built traditionally in festivals at many locations within Catalonia.
Mas Marroch is a 13th century masia (typically Catalan country house, traditionally built as the house and workplace for farmers and stockbreeders). It is surrounded by centenary gardens, where we will be able to taste the delicious cuisine of the awarded restaurant El Celler de Can Roca. It has three Michelin stars, highest distinction of the Michelin Guide.

CULTURAL VISIT around the city's OLD QUARTER. Girona is a city full of tradition and history. Its Old Quarter is known around the world for its beauty and its healthy state of conservation. It has some of the best monuments in town from the three main cultures that lived in Girona: Christian, Muslim and Jewish. The Jewish Quarter is the best preserved in Catalonia and it has stayed almost intact since the Middle Ages.

Salvador Dalí is undoubtedly, with Joan Miró, the most international of all Catalan artists. He was born in a very well-known province in the region of Girona named the Alt Empordà, which has always been associated with art and lately, thanks to Dalí and the propagation of the "empordanesa" idiosyncrasy, surrealism. The Dalí Museum in Figueres has some of the most important and interesting work of the artist, from drawings to sculptures and the emblematic Mae West work.
